How do I place an offer?
Creating an account is mandatory if you decide on placing a bid for your dream domain. Once you sign up (which takes just a minute), you can select the domain of your choice, type out the amount you want to bid, which should be higher than the current bid, and submit!
Can I purchase the domain if I am the second highest bidder?
In case the highest bidder fails to pay within the appropriate time frame, then the second-highest bidder will be notified by email to purchase the domain.
Can I return the domain after the purchase?
When you purchase a domain, you agree to the terms and conditions which state that once you buy a domain you agree to its full ownership and cannot return it once after the transaction is complete.
Can I update my original offer amount?
You cannot retract or update the amount of your bid once you have sent it. However, you can always place another bid above the amount you have bid.
Can I retract or cancel my bid?
As per Traderlo Terms and conditions, once you bid on any domain you cannot cancel or retract it. So, Traderlo suggests you please be careful while placing a bid on any domain. For more information, please contact our support team by dropping a mail at email@example.com.
How and when I receive the Auth code?
Once Traderlo receives payment from the buyer, Traderlo informs the seller to initiate the transfer process. After receiving the auth code from the seller, Traderlo transfers the auth code to the buyer via email.
Do I have to create an account to submit an offer?
Yes, you must log in or create an account on Traderlo before you submit your offer. We aim to create a transparent bidding platform by prohibiting anonymous bids.
Can I track my canceled order history?
Yes, you can track the details of all your canceled orders under the My Activity tab, even if it is sold or still in the auction.
How will I know when a new domain name has arrived?
New domain names are released to the public. To see which domains are available at any time, please visit our Website and follow us on Facebook , Twitter , linkedin, Pinterest , Instagram for the latest updates.
What are the Minimum and Maximum bid increments?
Traderlo has some validations to bid on a domain, those validations are as follows: Minimum bid increments are as follows: If bid price is from $1 to $100 then minimum will be ++current price + $1++ If bid price is from $100 to $1000 then minimum will be ++current price + $5++ If bid value is above $1000 then ++no minimum++ Maximum bid increments are as follow If bid value is less than $50 then Maximum will be ++$75++ If bid value is greater than $50 then Maximum will
Where can I get an invoice for the domain I purchased?
Once you finish paying for the domain, the invoice would be sent to your registered email. The invoice is also available under My Orders in Buying Activity.
How can I protect my domains from theft?
Traderlo always verifies the seller’s profile before they can even list their domains. Traderlo also verifies each listing which is put up by the sellers to make sure that they are the owner of that particular listing. In case you see any fraudulent activities in Traderlo relating to any listing that you own, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
How can I filter out low offers?
Buyers can choose Price (low to high) in the Sort By drop-down menu located in the upper right corner on the domain listing page. Alternatively, sellers can always put a minimum offer amount for the domain you are auctioning. This will help filter out any low bids that you may receive otherwise.
When can I start bidding?
Bidding is only possible when an auction is live.
When I buy a domain, do I pay Traderlo or the seller?
When you buy a domain, your payment goes directly to Traderlo. We hold the buyer's payment until we receive confirmation from the buyer that the domain has been transferred successfully. Following the buyer’s confirmation, Traderlo releases the payment to the seller.
I placed a wrong bid, what should I do now?
As soon as you bid on a domain, 'it has bearing on future bids'. Hence, we cannot delete/edit an incorrect bid. We advise our users to be careful when bidding, and always recheck the domain before bidding.
What happens if two people bid the same amount at the same time for a domain in the auction?
In case of multiple equal bids, the earlier submission will be considered as the winning bid.
What if another person wants the same domain?
Although you cannot own a domain name that someone else has already owned. But, you can search for the same domain name with different extensions.
What if the name I want is not available?
Traderlo provides you with thousands of names to choose from. If you still cannot find the name you want, contact us at email@example.com and we'll be happy to suggest some for you!
I received a payment reminder from Traderlo, but I've already made the payment. What should I do?
The paid amount may take a few hours to be reflected in our platform. Traderlo marks orders as Paid as soon as a payment is credited to our account. An unpaid invoice does not necessarily mean that your payment was not successfully transmitted. Payments made on weekends or holidays may take longer to process. It is recommended you check the updates for payment status regularly on My Orders page for the domain you purchased.
How long will I own a domain once I buy it?
A domain will remain in your ownership until your registration lapses or expires or you opt to sell the domain.
What domains are available on Traderlo?
Traderlo has thousands of domains up for sale and auctions, in over 35 categories, to kick start your business!
How much will it cost me to buy a domain listed for sale on Traderlo?
You do not need to pay anything other than the final bid price and the associated fees and/or taxes.
Do I get the logos along with domains?
If the seller offers a logo along with the domain, you can claim it and get it registered. But as of now, Traderlo doesn't sell logos separately.
Do I have to pay additional fees to the seller for domain transfer?
The payment of additional fees during domain transfer depends on the registrar. If the seller initiates the transfer, then the buyer does not have to pay anything. If the buyer is initiating transfer with auth code, then standard registrar charges will apply from $8-12. If transferring to the same registrar (Account to Account), then absolutely no charge!
Do I need to pay at the time of placing an order?
Auctioned Domains: Once the seller awards you as the winner of the auctioned domain, you will be notified to pay for the domain immediately. The payment should be completed within the next 24 hours. Non-Auctioned Domains: To complete your purchase, you must pay the Buy at price mentioned on the website. After successful payment, we transfer the domain to your account with complete ownership rights.
How long does the buyer have to wait to make payment after the purchase?
To purchase any domain from Traderlo, buyers need to pay immediately. We do not reserve any items for any of our users as the non-auctioned domains are purchased on a first-come first served basis. If you left domains unpaid in your cart then we recommend paying for it immediately as we cannot stop other buyers buying the same items in your cart before you complete your purchase.
Do I need to add a credit or debit card to bid or buy products from Traderlo?
Yes, users need to add contact and payment details under Account Settings before they can place a bid or buy a product from Traderlo.
